Have you ever asked yourself how your soda actually stays fizzy for so long in a can but then loses its fizz when you open it? Or how about how people have cool smoking cauldrons during Halloween? During this experiment, students will get to see the effect of dry ice in soda or punch in order to understand how carbonation works. They will learn about how soda and juice companies contain the carbon dioxide within can and bottles, and how the carbonation process actually happens on the molecular level
